With sincere and heartfelt congratulations, we celebrate the opening of the 1000 Missionary Movement (1000MM) website! In today’s world, the necessity and importance of this platform cannot be overstated. This website stands as a digital reflection of the three angels’ message, like another angel flying in midair, proclaiming the eternal gospel to every nation and people. Though we hoped to launch it sooner, we praise God for its completion now, and our long-cherished dream has finally been fulfilled. I also extend my deep thanks to the 1000MM media team, who worked tirelessly through the night to make this a reality. God began this great mission movement, and for the past 32 years, He has faithfully guided it, accomplishing remarkable things through His 1,000 missionaries. For this, we offer unending thanks and praise to our ever-faithful God.

           

             Thirty-two years ago, the 1000 Missionary Movement was established with two core purposes: advancing the gospel work and protecting Adventist young people from the dangers and evil influences of the world. Its beginnings were humble and insignificant, but by the grace of God, it developed by leaps and bounds. As of October 2024, approximately 11,937 young people have joined this movement, experiencing the abiding presence of the Lord while serving in the mission field. These missionaries have become courageous warriors of Christ, committed to remaining faithful to Him throughout their lives.

 

             Our missionaries have made great sacrifices to answer the call to serve. Many paused their education, delayed their marriages, closed businesses, and left jobs to become missionaries. In the field, they encountered challenges they never anticipated. Some had to fight against endemics and suffer from financial difficulties and all kinds of potential accidents. Others endured misunderstandings, hatred, and even persecution. Yet, through it all, they stood firm, enduring every trial by the grace of God and with the protection of His angels. I deeply admire their courage, faith, and devotion, and I am grateful for their unwavering commitment to serving as true missionaries of God. They are without doubt God’s chosen warriors.

 

            As we celebrate the launch of this new website, alongside the English edition of Maranatha Magazine, I am confident that the 1000 Missionary Movement will gain greater visibility and recognition as a global force in missionary work. I believe this platform will inspire many who visit, drawing more young people to answer the call and join this sacred work. Through this website, we aim to spread the message far and wide, planting the seeds for a growing global missionary movement in both name and reality. Soon, the work of spreading the gospel will be complete, and Jesus will return. Until that day, may we all serve faithfully as true missionaries of God, carrying His message to every corner of the earth.
