“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

October 2025 was one of those months that left me both exhausted and deeply grateful. It was busy—in every sense of the word—but also full of quiet blessings. We had several fellowships, both in our area and in nearby places, and we were also blessed to welcome visitors who came to spend the Sabbath with us in the mission field. On top of that, we participated in gift-giving activities across different districts, and that alone filled my heart in ways I didn’t expect.

In between all of that, we continued our house visitations. At one point, I realized we had already visited almost every home in the area. During each visit, we tried to serve in simple ways—checking blood pressure, offering massages, or just sitting down and listening. Most people were open to having their blood pressure checked, but when we offered massages, many would laugh and politely decline, saying they were still strong and used to hard work.

And honestly, they were right. The people in the mountains are incredibly strong and hardworking. They rarely complain, even when they are clearly tired. There were moments when my partner and I felt discouraged. It sometimes felt like what we were offering didn’t really matter, especially when people were hesitant to accept help.

But we chose to keep going. We continued showing up, offering what we could, and serving with a willing heart. Slowly, something began to change. From one person to more people started saying yes. What seemed small at first—like a simple act of care—became a way to build trust and connection.
There was one particular day when we had to climb up to a house in the mountains. The path was steep and difficult, and at one point, my partner even slipped. It wasn’t easy, but looking back, it became one of those moments that reminded me why we were there. Even in the struggle, God gave us strength.
This experience taught me something I will not forget: service is not about how big or impressive what we do is. It is about the love behind it. A simple health check, a short visit, or a small act of kindness may seem ordinary, but in God’s eyes, they matter.
I also realized that ministry is not always about seeing immediate results. Sometimes, it is simply about being present, being consistent, and being willing to serve.

In the end, the lesson became clear to me: when we serve with love, no effort is ever wasted. Even the smallest acts can become something meaningful in the hands of God.
To God be all the glory.
