“Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

One of the experiences that left a deep impact on me was meeting Ate Emily, whom I previously shared about on Social Media. She is married, has no children, and has been battling diabetes for years. When we first visited her, I knew she was sick, but I didn't realize how serious her condition really was. Her left foot was wrapped in cloth, and I assumed it was only a minor wound.

During our second visit, I asked if I could see her foot. What I saw broke my heart. The wound had become severe, and the infection had already caused significant damage. We immediately did what we could, cleaning the area and applying simple natural remedies while seeking a better solution.

The next day, I felt strongly impressed that she needed to be brought to the provincial hospital. Humanly speaking, it seemed impossible. Her family had no money—not even enough for transportation. As we traveled, I was already preparing a social media post asking for financial assistance. I was anxious and silently praying, wondering how we would manage the expenses.
But when we arrived, I discovered that God had already gone ahead of us.
Without us knowing, the local government had an ongoing program that provided free hospitalization for residents. Every medical need was covered. God had made a way long before we even knew we needed one.

Eventually, Ate Emily underwent surgery, and two of her toes had to be removed to prevent the infection from spreading further. Throughout the process, I visited her whenever I could and witnessed how God slowly restored her health.
Recently, our paths crossed again at the hospital during one of her follow-up checkups. Seeing her healthier, stronger, and smiling filled my heart with gratitude. At that moment, I remembered all the worries I had when no one responded to my appeal for help. Many expressed sympathy, but no actual support came.
Yet God taught me something unforgettable: His provision does not depend on human promises. He is never limited by what people can or cannot do. He had already prepared everything.
Today, Ate Emily's physical condition is improving, and I continue to pray that one day she will also experience the deeper healing that only God can give. This experience reminded me that God's timing is always perfect, and His plans are always bigger than our fears.
