Led Back by Grace
“Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.” — Malachi 3:7 (KJV)
Faith is a conviction deeply rooted in the heart. But what happens when the very beliefs we cherish lead us astray from the truth? The Arnado family was once a devoted Seventh-day Adventist family. However, after a group of Christian believer conducted Bible studies with them, their understanding of faith gradually changed, leading them to become part of it.

Years later, their pastor became ill and could no longer provide the spiritual guidance they needed. The family began worshiping in their own home, away from the fellowship of a church community. Yet even during this time, God had not forgotten them. Through Kuya Delco, an elder of the Tagoc Seventh-day Adventist Church who had known the family for many years, we were invited to visit them.

Together with our District Pastor, Pastor Lester Ivan Amongos, we visited the family twice, sharing God’s Word, praying with them, and encouraging them in their spiritual journey. During our third visit, by God’s grace, the Arnado family decided to return to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our hearts were filled with joy and gratitude as we witnessed this beautiful step in their spiritual journey.
Truly, the Lord continues to work patiently in the hearts of His children, lovingly leading them back to Him. Since then, we have continued visiting the family every Wednesday for Bible studies and midweek prayer. However, one challenge remains: their mother church is quite far from their community. The family expressed their desire for a closer place of worship where they could grow in faith and fellowship with other believers. In response to this need, we have been helping establish a church in their area. By God’s grace, construction is now underway!

We are also looking forward to an evangelistic crusade in their community, praying that more people will hear God’s Word and experience His transforming love. The story of the Arnado family reminds us that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace. Through prayer, Bible study, and the faithful efforts of His people, God continues to restore faith and open doors for greater ministry. As the new church takes shape, we pray that it will become a beacon of hope—a place where many hearts are transformed and lives are drawn closer to Him.
